Izymes ESG Policy
1. Purpose
At Izymes, we recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to the environment, society, and the communities we work in. This Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy sets out our commitments to sustainable and ethical practices in line with our values and the expectations of our employees, contractors, partners, customers, and the Atlassian ecosystem.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all Izymes employees, contractors, business partners, and suppliers.
It also reflects our alignment with the Atlassian Community Guidelines and the principles of the evolving Atlassian Ecosystem.
3. Environmental Responsibility
- Our office runs on 100% renewable energy.
- We recycle computers, phones, and all office equipment responsibly at end-of-life.
- We dedicate 1% of our revenue to climate protection initiatives.
- We aim to minimize our carbon footprint by supporting remote work and avoiding unnecessary travel.
4. Social Responsibility
- We foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment, upholding principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- We engage respectfully and constructively with customers, the Atlassian community, and broader society.
- We expect our contractors, suppliers, and partners to adhere to fair labor practices and human rights standards.
5. Governance
- We commit to ethical and transparent decision-making, with clear accountability at all levels.
- We comply with applicable laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where we operate.
- We protect the confidentiality and integrity of company and customer data by enforcing a device-lock policy: all devices accessing Izymes resources must require authentication, and elevated security is provided through biometric pass-keys.
- We regularly review our practices to ensure they align with evolving ESG expectations and the Atlassian ecosystem’s direction.
6. Continuous Improvement
We recognize that ESG is an ongoing journey. We welcome feedback from employees, partners, and the community to help us improve, and we will review this policy annually to reflect progress and new commitments.
